Shattering the Shame Campaign
Earlier this year Global Giving hosted the Girl Fund Campaign: a contest for organizations who are changing the world for girls. 164 projects were in the running, and only the top four would win. At the beginning of March, when the campaign only had a few days left, the Days for Girls Shattering the Shame project was in fifth place, set to narrowly miss out. By the time the contest was over on March 15, we had reached first place! Thank you to everyone in our Davis County region who donated to help us reach this goal. Shattering the Shame raised $25,790 from 690 unique donors. That means that Days for Girls will be able to provide over 2,500 more kits to women in girls in Nepal. 2,500 more lives changed, thanks to you! Way to go!
